Suisseculture
Suisseculture is the Umbrella organization of persons engaged professionally in the Swiss cultural sector. Its members are Swiss professional associations from many sectors (literature, journalism, the media, music, dance, the theatre, visual arts, photography, film and others) as well as their Swiss collective rights management organizations. The association was founded in 1989 in advance of the most recent total revision of the Copyright law under the name AGU (Arbeitsgemeinschaft der Urheberinnen und Urheber, Interpretinnen und Interpreten). In 1993, it changed its name to Suisseculture. Suisseculture acts at the political and legal levels to achieve comprehensive protection and improve the financial position of artists.
